Thank you to our employer partners This week we welcomed businesses who've supported our students into school for a careers morning, and it was a brilliant chance to say thank you for everything they've offered our young people. We heard from Mr Saunders, our Headteacher, Mr Hamill, who works in our Inclusion department, and last but not least, one of our incredible Year 13 students, about the real difference these partnerships have made, from opening doors to new experiences to building confidence for the future. We also explored new ways our partners can get involved in school and had honest, open conversations about the skills employers want young people to develop as they prepare for the world of work. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We can't wait to see where these partnerships take our students next! #Careers #EmployerEngagement #FutureReady #CareersEducation #SandwellAcademy #StudentSuccess #WorkReady #Partnerships

Year 9 took part in a powerful and thought-provoking session with Loud Mouth Theatre, exploring the theme of healthy relationships. Following the performance, students had the opportunity to question the characters directly, encouraging deeper reflection on the choices they made and the situations they faced. A valuable experience that helped students understand what healthy relationships look like and recognise when something may not be right. Thank you to Loud Mouth Theatre for such an engaging performance, and well done to Year 9 for the maturity and respect they showed throughout. #EnrichmentDay #Year9 #HealthyRelationships #LoudMouthTheatre #SandwellAcademy
